Thanks for the info,but I tried several times to work with VueScan.got the latest update, and have had several email exchanges with Ed Hamrick the developer.seems like my scans just stop at 12% when scanning reflective material, and nothing at all when using the transparency mode. How are you connected to your Mac?I'm using USB 1.1.whcih is what this older ScanJet 5370c uses.perhaps you model is of a newer vintage.mine is from 1996.and I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.8.are you using the latest Mac system update?
